You either love April Fool’s Day or you hate it. There really is no in between. Some people will spend weeks planning the best prank to play on their family and friends. Some of those pranks are huge successes, while others feel more like flops. Others come from a long line of jokers, so April Fool’s Day runs in their blood. Jenna Bush Hager loves a good prank, and it appeared her 12-year-old daughter, Mila, does too. The tween pulled one over on the whole family and did her mom proud.

Jenna Bush Hager was in on Mila’s Little Prank
The Today with Jenna & Sheinelle host told Willie Geist all about the little joke.
“We were going to the mall. We stopped at the gas station. She’s like, I have this idea. Let’s tell Dad and Poppy and our whole family group chat that we adopted this dog,” she explained, showing a puppy Mila created with Chat GPT. “So she sent this picture to the group chat. She’s like, ‘Hey, everybody, we got this dog from the gas station.”
Jenna Bush Hager’s husband and other kids totally bought the prank. We have to admit, the dog looked incredibly realistic, and we can totally see how someone might be fooled. The whole family started asking questions and wanted to learn more. Mila kept the gag going for quite a while, but then shopping called, and she and Jenna Bush Hager forgot about the puppy prank.
“It just went away,” she said, adding, “So, there was a million texts like ‘What’s the name of the dog? What’s the name of the dog? What’s the name of the dog?’ And she just wrote back, ‘The name is a prank.'”
