After Mom’s Sudden Illness, Son Sheds 70 Lbs & Turns Into Real-Life Disney Prince.

After being bullied as a child, Jeffrey Kendall, decided enough was enough. Weight was something he’d struggled with for years, and it was time to make a change.

A friend asked him to be his gym buddy and motivator. So Jeffrey, armed with a set of dumbbells, a string of Youtube yoga channels, and moral support, set out on his weight loss journey.

Amazingly, with a good diet and exercise, Jeffrey lost 70 pounds in a little over 100 weeks!

He told Business Insider how he stayed true to eating healthy:

“Having a ‘good’ diet is the most important thing to losing weight. It’s much easier to motivate yourself not to eat a cookie than to run a mile. That being said, I’m not strict on my diet and just try to count my calories and live with a degree of moderation. When you eat is important as well. I was a victim of late-night snacking. I ended up finding that eating a later dinner helped with that, so when you eat can be as important as what you eat.”

But one of the most incredible benefits was the outer transformation that took place.

When his mom, who is his greatest motivator, was released from the rehab center she was living in after suffering a brain aneurysm; it took weeks before she recognized him. As her memory returned, she realized just how much weight Jeff had lost and was astounded.

And it meant the world to have her support.

“Being home helping with my mother has been a huge help and motivator for me as well. She’s the toughest person I know and gives me a constant appreciation for life. She’s always telling me to take a day off and I love her so much for it. At the end of the day, I just want to make her proud.”

Then the videos he had been relying on for exercise advice became the place he found out how to self-love. He learned to accept his flaws and love who he is on the inside.

Eventually, Jeffrey posted his before and after photos on Reddit and ask to be rated. That’s when he received the most flattering comment of all: That he looked like a real-life Disney prince.

Now he’s hoping to pursue a future in modeling and acting!

“I’ve lost a lot of weight, a lot of sadness, and a little facial hair. I’ve gained a whole new appreciation for life. Remember to always love yourself… I’m using the love and support from everyone around to continue working towards my ultimate goal in life, which is to simply be love. I’m not entirely sure what that means just yet, but I hope to find out.â€
