Back in 2015, Mariah Carey and James Corden took a little car ride, sang some of her hit songs, recorded it… and Carpool Karaoke was born! The now-famous sketch is one of the most enjoyable and well-praised things to come out of late night TV in a long time, with Corden’s videos regularly going viral.
All kinds of celebrities from Bruno Mars, to J-Lo, Lin Manuel Miranda,  Michelle Obama, Elton John, Chris Martin, Stevie Wonder and more have all gone for a ride with James Corden… but–for a special Christmas-edition of Carpool Karaoke– Corden went back to the beginning with Mariah Carey.
Not only did Mariah bring us the greatest sketch on late-late-night TV, she also brought us the greatest Christmas song of all time: “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” In the video below, James Corden compiles clips of different celebrities who have participated in Carpool Karaoke singing the classic hit.
That’s right. In about 3 minutes, you’ll see superstars Adele, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Elton John, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, Chris Martin, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gwen Stefani, and Mariah Carey sing with James Corden, spreading Christmas cheer! It’s impossible not to smile.
