Jack Black Does The Most Jack Black Thing Ever At His Movie Premiere

Jack Black does a kick toward the camera at the "Kung Fu Panda 4" premiere in LA.

It’s been nearly 16 years since the very first Kung Fu Panda premiered, but the series staring Jack Black is still going strong! In fact, the Los Angeles premiere for the fourth installment took place on Sunday, and the stars of the show seemed elated to be there. This includes, of course, Black who couldn’t be more fitting for such a fun, silly role.

This is clear by… well, everything about the actor. But at the premiere, he further proves this when a wholesome miscommunication takes place between him and someone with The Hollywood Reporter. The journalist asks if he can give them a kick, like his character, Po. But Black thinks they’re asking for a kiss. Either way, he’s happy to oblige!

At first, Black blows a kiss. When he realizes the person’s actual request, he gives them not one but two kicks, followed by the most Jack Black nod ever. Needless to say, The Hollywood Reporter and fans everywhere are happy with how this interaction turned out.

“Wow we really just got a kiss and TWO KICKS from Jack Black,” one fan writes. “We are undeserving of this man.”

The whole kiss-and-kick interaction is great, of course, but other fans are pointing out that, for seemingly no reason at all, Black is holding a single leaf in his hand.

“The leaf in his hand,” someone points out, “Hahaha protect this man at all costs.”
