As a mermaid entertainer, you’ll normally find Madison exploring the deep blue ocean. More specifically, she calls the gorgeous water off of Catalina Island her home away from home. That said, Madison and another adventurous “mermaid” were spotted on a very different kind of summer adventure. These two mermaids went parasailing!

When a beach goer named Kailee first spotted these two women, she may have thought nothing of it. But all it took was a closer look to realize these women had tails rather than human legs. Kailee says she “giggled quite a bit at this.” She also managed to capture the moment on camera. See these flying mermaids in the video below!

Catalina Island Parasailing Gives a Closer Look at the Two Mermaids Seen Soaring in the Southern California Sky
In addition to the tinge of jealousy people are feeling over these paragliding mermaids, they’re also oh-so-thrilled to see such a delightful duo. Catalina Island Parasailing, the company that made this adventure possible, couldn’t agree more. They even shared their own footage of the ride!

“Imagine being a lil girl seeing two mermaid besties on the parasail,” someone thoughtfully points out in the comments. Others add, “Just made me realize I am not living to my full potential lol” and “NEW DREAM UNLOCKED.”
As fun as Madison’s sky-high adventure was, at the end of the day, the ocean is where she belongs. Not that she can complain! Take a look at the typical breathtaking environment she finds herself in.

Being paid to be a mermaid sounds like an absolute dream come true! Who wouldn’t want the chance to dress like a mythical creature and explore the ocean? That said, mermaids like Madison can do so much more than look amazing.
People like Madison are often PADI Divemasters, lifeguards, etc. In fact, a fellow diver was once rescued by a group of skilled “mermaids.” You can learn more about that story here!
