Patients at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky recently got a fun surprise outside their windows! Employees from Pro Clean International turned themselves into superheroes with elaborate costumes to cheer up the kids inside the medical facility while washing their windows. WLKY reports that the special appearance took place on Thursday, but it’s not the first of its kind. In fact, the company has been staging “visits” from beloved characters for years!
In 2022, WDRB reported that Pro Clean International window washers first began the tradition by dressing up as Santa Claus and his toy-making elves. However, they later decided that famous superheroes would be a better choice.
“It’s important for the children and the families,” said Emmett Ramser, chief administrative officer at Norton Children’s Hospital. “They have a great time, it’s a surprise.”
