Country Singer Hunter Hayes Has Sweetest Duet At Special Needs Prom With Biggest Fan.

Going to the prom is one of the most exciting events for students who are finishing high school. From finding the perfect dress to picking out a corsage, and maybe even renting a limo, most teens put a lot of thought and planning into making their big night special. For Rachel Rogers of Tennessee, prom night meant so much to her that she decided to go out on a limb and invite a very special date to join her. Rachel made a video asking her celebrity crush, country star Hunter Hayes, to be her date. Rachel is a member of the Tennessee Chapter of Best Buddies, which is a charitable organization that helps match people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a mentor their own age. Each year, Best Buddies holds a prom night at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Fans of Hunter's know him as the charming, always-smiling young man who's been making music since he was just a little boy.  He's undeniably successful, and presumably very busy with his career... but that didn't stop him from seeing Rachel's video and deciding to surprise her at the prom. As soon as he saw Rachel's video, Hunter decided that he'd honor Rachel's request to join him at the prom. In fact, he even performed for the crowd of happy teenagers -- and he asked Rachel to sing a song with him! On stage in front of an entire auditorium filled with people, Hunter and Rachel sang his hit song, "Wanted." Nearly everyone there was moved to tears by the sweet duet. The lyrics of Hunter's song are so beautiful, and Rachel is visibly moved as she sings alongside her favorite singer in the world!
"'Cause I wanna wrap you up Wanna kiss your lips I wanna make you feel wanted And I wanna call you mine Wanna hold your hand forever And never let you forget it Yeah, I, I wanna make you feel wanted"
At the end of the song, Hunter wraps Rachel up in a big hug. We bet she'll be cherishing this moment for the rest of her life. Hunter wasn't the only celebrity who attended the Best Buddies prom that night. The guest list also included stars like country singer Drake White, NHL players Pekka Rinne and Roman Josi from the Nashville Predators. and Vanessa Grimaldi from TV's "The Bachelorette." What an incredibly kind act of love! We love it when celebrities reach out to make their fans happy like this.
