Picture this: You’re taking a stroll down the beach when, suddenly, you spot a massive group of corgis running in your direction. Sounds amazing, right? Well, thanks to the Oregon Humane Society, this adorable dream becomes reality every single year during their Corgi Beach Takeover event. Their latest one took place just last weekend on June 24.
The fluffy pups and their humans participate in corgi races, costume contests, raffles, and other fun events, all of which take place at Seaside beach on the Oregon coast. And just like every other time the event has been held, money was raised for the Oregon Humane Society.
Each Corgi Beach Takeover truly lives up to its name – last weekend, hundreds of corgis ran around, having the time of their lives on the beach. In fact, they have so much fun, owners say that their sweet pups are so tired out by the time these events come to a close that the car ride back home is rather quiet.
