Hugh Grant’s Wimbledon Snoozefest Has Fans Laughing Hysterically

Hugh Grant Wimbleton

Hugh Grant is one of those people who steals the show no matter where he is. He’s handsome, always dressed to the nines, and even played the Prime Minister in 2003’s Love Actually. Great Britain loves Hugh, and he makes it a point to support his country in any way that he can. Like many celebs, Hugh Grant recently popped up at Wimbledon. The star-studded event comes along with a lot of paparazzi coverage. While some cameras caught Hugh giggling alongside his wife, Anna Elisabet Eberstein, one snapped him taking a snooze. The now-viral photo was taken during the men’s singles quarter-final tennis match between Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Italy’s Flavio Cobolli.

Hugh Grant Was Just A Few Feet Away From Queen Camilla At Wimbledon

Not only are the tickets to Wimbledon spendy, but Hugh scored a seat behind Queen Camilla. Even so, that apparently wasn’t enough to keep him awake and on his best behavior. Not surprisingly, social media went crazy with the photos, and people could hardly believe the Notting Hill star actually went to sleep during the match.

Hugh Grant sleeping behind Queen Camilla at Wimbledon is my Roman Empire,” someone wrote on X.

“Hugh Grant Was Caught Seemingly Sleeping While Sitting With Queen Camilla At Wimbledon, And The Reactions Are Everything Just Hugh Grant casually catching some Z’s next to Queen Camilla at Wimbledon,” another person joked. “Who knew the royal box was also a snooze fest?”

Wimbledon shared video on their official Instagram account of Hugh and his wife enjoying the match.

“She’s just a girl, playing tennis in front of a boy. Hugh Grant enjoying day 10 of Wimbledon,” the post reads.

Fans couldn’t’ let the napping go, though.

“Oh, he’s all up and about now! Perfect day to catch up on his sleep, though,” someone joked.

“We love, like, actually,” a comment quipped.
