Mom Brought To Tears Reading Note From Stranger Who Bought Daughter’s Birthday Cake.

When Holly Grimet of Alvin, Texas, went to pick up her daughter Eva’s birthday cake and cupcakes, she was confused to find out they’d already been paid for.

She wondered if a grandparent or friend had wanted to help her out, but the store employees told her the reality was even sweeter!

Eva was celebrating turning 8, a fact that would mean more to the kind stranger than Holly could have imagined. The woman left a note explaining everything, and it’s powerful enough to warm anyone’s heart:

My son Nehemiah would be 8 years old today. I wanted to remember my son by doing good to others. I hope you enjoy your child’s cake, and I hope your day is special. Hold your baby a little tighter today. Watch them as they play, be patient with them, kiss their sweet little hand, and tell them how much you love them. Our children are such special gifts! I hope your day is beautiful. Much love from me and my angel in heaven to your family.

Moved by this mom’s loss and gratitude for her own two daughters, Holly took to Facebook to share the encounter with the world.

“Y’all this stuff never happens to me,” she wrote. “I feel at times I’m always trying to do the right thing and wanting to be a better person even though I fall short daily. This. Melts. My. Heart. I’m a crying mess. So thankful for my babies.”
