A woman was visiting her great-great-grandmother, Helene Simon, to celebrate her 99th birthday when she had an idea.
Laney Crowell owns a cosmetic company called Saie. Helene uses several of their products, and a quick glance will tell you they’re working – she looks incredible!
Laney wondered if Helene might consider modeling for her company, but Helene initially said “absolutely not.” So Laney asked her 14,000 social media followers if they’d like to see an ad featuring a beautiful almost-centenarian, and they all replied with a resounding YES! Their enthusiasm was enough to sway Helene.
“My granddaughter persisted and encouraged me to show the world that 99-year-old women should still be represented,” the great-great-grandma explained.
Saie is known for providing cosmetic solutions to people of all ages, skin tones, and backgrounds. When Helene finally joined her great-great-granddaughter for a photo shoot, she had a great time being the star of the show!
In the ad, Helene modeled Saie’s Slip Tint, Mascara 101, and Dew Blush. She looks absolutely stunning in her white shirt and chunky jade necklace. Even better, in spite of her earlier concerns, Helene wound up having the time of her life!
“I loved being on set,” she said. “The photographer was incredible and so fun. It definitely was a treat to get my hair and makeup done.”
The photos speak for themselves! Helene is positively glowing, and it’s so refreshing to see people of all ages appearing in ads for beauty products! The public agrees; Saie’s ads have been a big success so far. Thanks to “Nanna,” they could take their brand to the next level!
