Harry Styles Fights Tears Singing “Landslide” With Idol Stevie Nicks.

This May, One Direction front man Harry Styles went solo with an album that’s already making its way into hearts across generations. Gone are the pop sounds of One Direction and, in their place, are acoustic guitars and soulful rock.

On May 19th, Harry shut down The Troubadour in Los Angeles with a secret show aimed at promoting his new album, ‘Harry Styles.’ Fans lucky enough to be in the audience enjoyed banter with Harry throughout his set, but they had no idea Harry had a surprise in store for them: a special guest.

After playing the One Direction song “Stockholm Syndrome,” Harry humbly introduced the crowd to none other than legendary superstar Stevie Nicks!

“I’m pretty sure that this was going to be up there with one of the best nights of my life,” he told the crowd, according to Billboard. “If there was any doubt, I’m pretty sure I’d like to confirm, in my entire life, I never thought I’d be able to say this. Please welcome to the stage, Stevie Nicks!”

Stevie Nicks is well known for her career with Fleetwood Mac as well as her incredible solo music career. It was no small deal for Harry to be joined by Stevie on the stage as she is regarded by many as the Queen of Rock n’ Roll.

When she stepped onto the stage, they began singing “Two Ghosts” together, a song from Harry’s new solo album.

But the best part was undoubtedly their “Landslide” duet, a song first performed by Stevie with Fleetwood Mac back in 1975. Complete with dueling harmonies and perfectly paired vocals, the pair performed this song perfectly.

“She’s the queen of anything,” Harry said after they finished off their duets with “Leather and Lace,” a song from 1981 featuring Stevie and Don Henley.

Such an incredible performance by a young artist– just launching his solo career– and the legendary artist who inspired him and many more!
