If you’re lucky enough to have living grandparents in your life, you probably have a few stories about them that you love to retell. In Haley Gamez’s case, it’s her 89-year-old grandfather’s ritual of saying goodbye after she visits that she’ll never forget.
In a video she shared on Instagram, she shows off how her grandpa insists on jogging alongside her car whenever she leaves his house. In three brief clips, we see him running along the road beside her before he gives her a cheery wave goodbye. When Haley leaves in the dark, her dad joins in to make sure her grandpa stays safe.
