Groom Makes Headlines After His Soulful Dance Down The Aisle

Groom Dance

When it comes to weddings, people often look forward to the bride’s walk down the aisle. Guests want to see her dress, veil, and gorgeous smile as she looks at her dream come true waiting at the altar. But sometimes, the groom wants to get in on the action, too. Adler Marchard certainly did, and when it was time to marry his fiancé, Shamar Brown, he proved he was not like us. Nope, Adler is much cooler. This groom didn’t walk down the aisle; he did a dance his guests will never forget.

The Groom Channeled The Super Bowl Half Time With His Dance

Adler danced to a custom version of Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us, and his guests loved every second.

“The response from our guests was absolutely incredible — they went wild, hyping me up the entire way down the aisle,” Adler told People. “Many friends and family members mentioned that they expected nothing less, given my energy and creative talents.”

He added, “I was admittedly nervous and even started forgetting some of the lyrics we rehearsed. I remember my best man whispering, ‘Hold on, don’t go yet!’ when I started moving too early. Despite the nerves, we all improvised together, and that collective energy turned a few hiccups into one of the most memorable moments of our day.”

TikTokers loved watching the groom dance, too. The video racked up more than 20 million views.

This person loved seeing Adler get down. “Love that grooms are starting to realize it’s their day toooo he did his biggest one CONGRATSSSSS.”

“The energy the groom has says everything about this marriage … I love it,” someone else wrote.

Seeing the groom dance is this person’s favorite moment of the year so far. “This is by far my favorite video of 2025!!! Y’all did that!!!”
