Groom Makes Headlines After His Soulful Dance Down The Aisle

Adler Marchard certainly did, and when it was time to marry his fiancé, Shamar Brown, he proved he was not like us. Nope, Adler is much cooler. Adler danced to a custom version of Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us, and his guests loved every second.

“The response from our guests was absolutely incredible — they went wild, hyping me up the entire way down the aisle,” Adler told People. “Many friends and family members mentioned that they expected nothing less, given my energy and creative talents.”

He added, “I was admittedly nervous and even started forgetting some of the lyrics we rehearsed. I remember my best man whispering, ‘Hold on, don’t go yet!’ when I started moving too early. Despite the nerves, we all improvised together, and that collective energy turned a few hiccups into one of the most memorable moments of our day.”

TikTokers loved watching the groom dance, too. The video racked up more than 20 million views.
