It’s never easy to lose a beloved pet. For this man, losing his four-legged best friend was especially difficult given the circumstances. At some point when away from the house, the poor pup was attacked by a coyote. Before he passed away, this sweet pup would follow his human Dad everywhere he went, making his absence all the more apparent.
When the man’s children saw how upset their Dad was over this loss, they formulated a plan. Although nothing could replace his last dog, they knew that having a new four-legged friend in his life would lift his spirts. That’s why, one night, they visited under the guise of bringing him dinner.
When one of his kids arrived, they placed a bag on his lap. What he thought would be food, however, turned out to be an adorable dog! Within seconds, Dad was sobbing over this unexpected gift. Needless to say, this is a moment he’ll never forget. Plus, it’s sure to be the start of a beautiful friendship.
