The New York City Subway is always full of odd occurrences, but this performance might top the list. Jimmy Fallon and the band Green Day snuck down into the NYC subway to put on an incredible rock concert!
The band and Jimmy were decked out in wigs and sunglasses and set up their instruments like any other subway performer. However, Jimmy Fallon quickly explained who they were, and the subway got to rockin’ out.
Can you imagine being on your commute when, suddenly, Jimmy Fallon and Green Day appeared? What a hilarious and epic story! If there wasn’t video proof, certainly no one would believe you!
Quickly, tons of folks stopped to rock out with the band. It was a total sight to see.
“‘Yeah I’m gonna be late to work. Why? Green Day was on the train’,'” joked one commenter, explaining the crazy scenario.
People were also cracking up about the security guards in the video.
“It took me a while to realize those guys aren’t just lame, they’re their security,” commented one observer.
