“Good Lookin’ Cookin” Dolly Parton Teams Up With Her Sister To Create New Cookbook

A tweet from Dolly Parton about her new cookbook.

Dolly Parton wasn’t kidding when she wrote her song “Berry Pie”— she really does love to cook and bake! This legendary country singer loves to share her recipes with her fans, whether through cookbooks or signature baking mixes. However, this year, she’s teaming up with a fellow food lover. Dolly Parton and her sister, Rachel, are set to release their cookbook, Good Lookin’ Cookin’, this fall!

“I wrote this book with my sister, Rachel, who might just be the best cook I know,” wrote the musician on X. “If you’re like us, you believe that good food and good times are the next best thing to pure love. So take a journey with us, into the kitchen.”

Dolly Parton’s Cookbook is Heading for the Shelves!

Of course, we all know that Dolly Parton is a woman of many talents — when she’s not writing songs, musicals, or cookbooks, she’s acting and doing charity work. As she told Forbes, she’s even thinking about creating her own network!

“Well, I’m actually hoping to start my own network and actually have movies and other programming on that, so that’s something that is coming up,” she said. “I’m writing a cookbook with my sister Rachel, doing a movie based on the novel that I wrote with James Patterson called Run, Rose, Run.”

Parton continued, “We’re doing that this summer, so there’s a whole lot of good things that I want to do, but I guess the network would be one of the things that I have not dabbled in of my own. I never know! I wake up with new dreams everyday.”

We’re looking forward to trying out all of the delicious recipes that Dolly Parton and her sister will be sharing with us in their highly-anticipated cookbook. If you just can’t wait to get your hands on Good Lookin’ Cookin, you can pre-order it now!
