A source shared a statement about the couple’s happy news with People. “Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life, and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”
It Seems Gisele Bundchen May Have Been Hiding Her Baby Bump For A While To Help Keep The Pregnancy A Secret
People noted that Gisele shared an Instagram Reel for an herbal supplement earlier this month but seemed to carefully film from just the waist up. Gisele also wore a black tank top, which can easily make a person appear slimmer.
Gisele Bündchen was famously modeled as Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1999 until 2006. The brand held an annual fashion show until 2018 when it went on hiatus due to low ratings. The fashion show returned on October 15, but Gisele didn’t attend, Hola! reported. Her absence caught the attention of many who wondered why she wasn’t there. Now, it appears she might have been holding off on big public appearances until she made her big announcement.
According to Hola!, she told O Globo she isn’t ready to retire.
“I never said I would retire, just that I would no longer do runways,” Gisele Bundchen said. “I will never stop working. My desire is to continue creating until the day I die. I love the creativity that exists within me, I want to learn new things,” she added.
Per Hola! Gisele Bundchen once told Refinery29 how much she loves Victoria’s Secret. “They were always very respectful. They knew that I didn’t really enjoy being in G-strings on the runway, so they always gave me a cape. I could have continued maybe three or five more years there, but I felt like I had done that chapter. When you say no to something, you say yes to something else.”
No word on a due date, but we can’t wait to hear all about the new bundle of joy.
