Just one week after Maroon 5 released their single “Girls Like You,” the song was already so popular that their music video reached viral status with over a billion views on YouTube.
Just about everyone and their mom was humming along to the catchy tune, including one little munchkin named Myla who seems determined to win the hearts of all who set eyes on her! In fact, little Myla’s own “Girls Like You” video is now going viral, too.

Justin and Trina Wesson of Los Angeles, California, have always been big fans of Maroon 5. One evening after Justin and Myla had finished their evening shower and bath, respectively, the doting dad wrapped up his adorable daughter in a snuggly hooded towel and held her close while they put on their new favorite song, “Girls Like You.”

As the song plays in the background, Justin and Myla start lip-syncing the lyrics – complete with utterly hysterical facial expressions from Myla. She’s got a very expressive face to start with, but the way she exaggerates the “oooh ooh” and “yeah yeahs” is just too cute!

“Girls Like You” has been No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for three weeks already. And it’s easy to see why the video is so popular, racking up the views thanks to appearances by superstar women including Aly Raisman, Sarah Silverman, Gal Gadot, Tiffany Haddish, Millie Bobby Brown, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, and Danica Patrick.
The only thing missing from that video? Myla and her dad!

Even Justin can’t keep a straight face as she mouths the words. Her little face is just so sweet, and every time she succeeds in making her dad laugh you can see her glow with pleasure. Trina was so impressed with her daughter’s lip-syncing skills that she decided to share the video on the family’s social media pages, and that’s when things really took off.
Next thing Trina knew, Maroon 5 themselves took note of the adorable video. Not only did they “like” and comment on it, they even shared the video on their social pages!

“Soooo this just happened!!! I’m freaking out a little!! Definitely did not expect to go viral! Let alone get a shout out from Maroon 5!!” Trina wrote when she noticed the attention.
Later, she commented on the band’s shared post to let them know how much their nod meant to her.

There’s a great reason why Myla and Justin’s video went viral; it’s truly a breath of fresh air! With all the bad stuff we see in the news each day, it’s fabulous to just sit back and watch a dad and daughter who love each other.
