Whether they’re building sandcastles on the beach, playing hide-and-go-seek in the backyard, or just lazing away on the porch at sunset, kids and their pets are bonded for life. Six-year-old Scarlett and her family’s pit bull, Lebowski, have exactly that kind of relationship. They could be swimming or out on a hike, baking chocolate chip cookies or doing absolutely nothing – the only thing that matters is that they’re together.
Wanting to share their bond with the world, Scarlett decided to sing “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” to her best buddy.

Facebook
You’ve got troubles
I’ve got ‘em too
There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for you
Facebook
We stick together and see it through
But you’ve got a friend in me
Yeah, you’ve got a friend in me
Facebook
Some other folks might be
A little smarter than I am
Big and strong, too
Facebook
But none of them will ever
Love you the way I do
It’s me and you boy
Facebook
And as the years go by
Our friendship will never die
You’re gonna see it’s our destiny
Facebook
You’ve got a friend in me
Yeah, you’ve got a friend in me
Yeah, you’ve got a friend in me
