Girl Scouts Announce New Ice Cream Flavor-Inspired Cookie For 2026

Girl Scout Cookie Exploremores

For more than 100 years, Girl Scout Cookies have been an annual tradition. Varieties like Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, and Do-Si-Dos are staple sweet treats. Through the years, the Girl Scouts of the USA have tried out plenty of new cookie flavors. Some have been huge sellers, and others only stayed for a cookie season or two. Last year, the Girl Scouts announced the retirement of S’Mores and Toast-Yay! Cookies. The organization doesn’t comment on why it discontinued selling its cookies. But when one goes away, that typically means there’s something in the works. On September 9, the Girl Scouts announced its latest creation, Exploremores.

Exploremores Are The Girl Scouts’ Take On Rocky Road

Girl Scouts shared details of the Exploremores in a news release, and this flavor sounds delicious.

“Filled with delicious flavors of chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond–flavored crème, Exploremores reflect the spirit of exploration at the heart of every Girl Scout,” the release explains.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program helps troop members develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Proceeds from Girl Scout Cookie sales stay local to the troop and help expand scouting programs.

“Every purchase of Exploremores—and the entire lineup of iconic Girl Scout Cookies—helps girls unbox a world of possibilities, one cookie at a time. With each cookie box sold, consumers are supporting Girl Scouts as they learn, grow and thrive through all of life’s adventures,” the Girl Scouts explained.

Girl Scout Cookie fans can’t wait to try Exploremores.

“Sounds amazing! Can’t wait to try them. I love rocky road,” someone shared on Instagram.

Many agreed.
