When you love your dog as much as Gaby and Oscar Téllez do, you include them in all your special moments.
When the Virginia couple got engaged in 2018, they already knew Oscar’s golden retriever Thor would be a big part of their wedding. So before the ceremony in July 2019, Gaby planned something special for the dog who stole her heart.

Months after tying the knot, Gaby shared her first look wedding photos with a Facebook group called Golden Retriever Club. Only instead of showing her groom’s awestruck face, they feature Thor all dolled up!

“I didn’t do a first look with my husband, but I did do a first look with our good boi!” Gaby wrote. “He freeeaaked out – it was an emotional moment for the both of us.”
Fortunately, they’d practiced beforehand, so when the sight of Gaby sent Thor into an adorable free-for-all, he didn’t get dirt on her dress.

While Gaby wasn’t the one to adopt Thor, she said she’s grown to love him just as much as Oscar does. In fact, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say they both see Thor as their child!
“He was my husband’s first, but when I came into the picture, we grew such a strong bond,” she said. “I couldn’t imagine life without him.”

That’s why she decided to celebrate Thor in April by sharing her love with the world.
“Today is Thor’s 7th birthday and we are looking back at one of our favorite days we shared with him,” she continued. “Look how he runs down the aisle all on his own like the goodest boi.”

As for Thor, the love is mutual! From the pictures alone, it’s obvious that he adores his mom.
