“From Husky Protecting My Unborn Baby… To Baby Protecting Her Husky”

A pregnant woman lays on her back, her large belly exposed. She smiles as she looks down and pets the Husky resting her head on her stomach.

Daisy and Millie the Husky make quite the pair. In fact, the two of them have been attached at the hip since baby Daisy was born. Actually, that’s not entirely accurate. The two of them have actually been closer for much longer. While Daisy was still an unborn baby, Millie would lovingly protect her. You could often find her laying right next to Mom. Though, she paid special mind to her ever growing stomach.

Once the baby was born, her loving relationship with the Husky only grew stronger. If there was a moment where Millie could be by Daisy’s side, ensuring nobody could hurt her, you could bet she’d be right there. With time, though, the desire to protect became a mutual one. So, to capture the beauty of their friendship over the years, a video was created with some of their best moments. Check it out below!

“This is what it means when you properly introduce children to dogs and raise them together,” someone points out in reply to these heartwarming clips. “Accidents still happen but that baby girl knew when to back off and treated that husky with respect. That’s an amazing sight and I wish we saw more families do this the right way.”

This Gentle Husky and Adorable Baby Continue to Make the Perfect Pair

Even as their relationship changes with Daisy getting older, the two of them remain inseparable. For anyone who has both little ones and pets, this likely comes as no surprise. The bond between a sweet dog and their baby human is unlike anything else!

“I don’t mind watching a 3 hour movie on them growing together,” someone admits in the comments, with another person adding, “Millie is a national treasure.”
