When Merissa Beddows introduced herself on “America’s Got Talent,” everyone was expecting an opera performance. While they weren’t entirely wrong, both the audience and judges were in for a surprising treat.

The 23-year-old New Yorker caught everyone’s attention when, just before starting her performance, she explained that this was going to be much more than an operatic version of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.” In fact, before getting started, she made sure that judge Heidi Klum got a large dice with mostly famous singers’ names written on each side.

Once the dice was in Klum’s hands, Merissa proceeded to explain that she was going to start her audition with the kind of opera performance you’d expect. After a new lines, however, she planned to change her singing style based on what celebrity Klum chose from the dice.

Some of the famous (and not so famous) people Merissa impersonated include Ariana Grande, Celine Dion, Stevie Nicks, Snow White – and even her grandma!

Merissa’s voice is not only amazing, but her ability to change from one singing style to another on the spot had everyone with their mouths wide open. As one would expect, her audition ended with a standing ovation.

Clearly, this Impersonation Queen was born to shine on the stage, and we can’t wait to see more of her jaw-dropping performances!
