When she was a kid, Amanda Mammana never thought she was “good enough” to accomplish many of her dreams due to her speech impediment.

But today, she knows that little Amanda was completely wrong.

Growing up, Amanda realized that she doesn’t stutter when she sings. Therefore, the 19-year-old decided to face her fears on the stage of America’s Got Talent, determined to show the world the amazing talent that she has to offer.

The young woman introduced herself and told the judges that she would sing an original song that she wrote. This song talks about her own life and the hard times that she has faced, and how if she had the chance to change that, she still wouldn’t.

“Because they made me… me,” Amanda explained.

Not knowing what to expect, the judges and the crowd patiently waited as Amanda got ready to sing and play her guitar… and as soon as she started, everyone’s jaws just dropped.

Amanda’s angelic voice and her beautiful lyrics captured everyone’s attention immediately. As soon as she was done singing, she got a standing ovation… and she couldn’t help but tear up as she was witnessing this precious moment.

“Good enough doesn’t explain what we just heard,” said judge Howie Mandel. “It’s not only good, it’s great.”

Not surprisingly, all four judges said yes to Amanda, which means she will advance in the competition!

Amanda has already touched the lives of millions with her inspiring performance, and we can’t wait to see how many more she will impact with her future performances. We are rooting for you, Amanda!
