Her audition was so strange that the creators of the show made the role of April just for her. A casting director said to the director, “I just met the weirdest girl I’ve ever met in my life. You have to meet her and put her on your show.” And so they did!
2. She didn’t grow up around show business.
Aubrey was born in Delaware to a lawyer and a financial advisor. That’s quite a long way from a Hollywood celeb!
3. Aubrey dated Michael Cera!
What a hilarious duo. The two even almost eloped in Vegas!
4. She turned down Ryan Gosling not once, but twice.
This sarcastic superstar rejected Ryan Gosling’s attempts to take her on a date not once, but two times! At the end of the day, he’s just Ken, I suppose!
5. She has suffered a stroke.
When Aubrey was 20, she was in an improv class and began having a stroke. It took a while for her friends to notice she wasn’t just doing an improv joke. She was temporarily paralyzed after the incident.
6. Her parents named her after a song.
Despite their traditional careers, her parents had a soft spot for rock! Aubrey was named after the band Berad’s song, “Aubrey.”
7. Aubrey won the award for Most Famous Person from Delaware.
Almost half of the state voted Aubrey as the Most Famous Person from Delaware. Interestingly enough, President Joe Biden is from Delaware, too! Maybe Aubrey should run for office.
8. Aubrey has played the role of Grumpy Cat.
A TV movie was made about Grumpy Cat, the famous, moody Internet meme. Aubrey voiced the kitty in the film!
