The Olympics better watch out because the Kittisaurus games are coming for its title of “most watched international sporting event!”
With nearly 570 million views on YouTube, the 10 cats of Kittisaurus have stolen the hearts of people all around the world with their purr-fect personalities. Many of them center around their human setting up all kinds of amusing obstacles and competitions for them to compete in – yes, it’s just as amazing as it sounds!
One of their more recent competitions is called the Funny Cat Paper Cup Challenge. In it, eight of these feisty kitties are paired up tournament style for a total of three rounds.
Their goal, whether they quite understand it or not, is to find a way across the 500 paper cups in front of them before their competitor does. Sheets of cardboard are placed strategically on top to help them out, but with each new round, these sheets get smaller, making it all the more challenging.
While some of the cats seem befuddled by all the cups in their path, others barely skip a beat as they race right over the obstacles at lightning speed. And just like in human competitions, just when you think that someone is sure to win, something unexpected (and amazing) happens…
