“When we saw something suspicious on her, we took her to the ER, and they didn’t quite know what to make of it,” Nara said. “When we took her into our pediatrician, I just remember him going really quiet and calm … My heart dropped in that moment. I don’t know whether it was my gut telling me something or just a mom’s intuition, but the first thing that I felt was she has cancer.”

Nara Smith Said She Felt Overwhelmed

She admitted that when the doctors confirmed Whimsy’s cancer, she immediately went online to research and join forums to learn as much as she could.

“All of that combined really brought me a lot of comfort and alleviated the feeling of loneliness for me,” Nara Smith wrote. “Processing this and navigating all of this as a family has been really hard.”

Fans let Nara Smith know they are praying for her and Whimsy.

“Nara we are standing in the gap for Whimsy Lou! We ask Jesus if You are willing please reach out and touch little Whimsy Lou and heal her totally and completely! I ask for strength and comfort for Lucky, Nara and their whole family. Thank You Holy Spirit for peace in Jesus Name Amen!” A fan shared.

This person agreed, writing, “I’m so sorry. I can’t believe you’ve been going through this all this time? And people get on you for the stupidest smallest ridiculous things. Goes to show you never know what people are going through. Always be kind ♡ Sending love, healing prayers, and support. You are going to help bring comfort to so many families going through the same thing.”
