Steve Bellissimo, lovingly known as Mr. Steve, shares a special relationship with his local Chick-fil-A. The Florida resident is so much more than the average customer – he’s become a part of the restaurant’s family.
For the last 20 years, Mr. Steve has come into his local Chick-fil-A every morning. He sits in the same booth and orders the same breakfast.
“His visit was a daily highlight and our team would carve out a good five to 10 minutes each day to sit and talk with him,” the post said.
Mr. Steve is so loved by the restaurant’s employees, that they have celebrated his birthday for the last six years. In fact, they just recently helped him ring in year 104. What a special milestone!
In a Facebook post, the restaurant also shared pictures from each celebration since Mr. Steve’s 99th birthday. And when Mr. Steve turned 100, everyone turned up!
When he turned 100, the location celebrated in a major way by dedicating a booth to him and gifting him free CFA for life. Nice!
The fun didn’t stop there as the celebration gained national attention and afforded the opportunity for Mr. Steve to film a Chick-fil-A commercial in New York City.
Birthdays are certainly even more special when celebrated with others. For Mr. Steve, each celebration gets better and better at his favorite restaurant! Year 104 will be one to remember, and the CFA team is grateful for the memories and the relationship they have with Mr. Steve.
“As we celebrated 104, we couldn’t help but feel immensely grateful for the opportunity to return even a portion of the love that he shares with our team,” the restaurant wrote. “And for the bond that we have been able to build over the past six years of birthdays.”
We’re sure Steve is also grateful for all the birthday love over the years!
