Sometimes doing the right thing means putting yourself in pretty awkward situations. When one of these moments happened last week to Kieran Murray, he chose to share it on TikTok. It all started when this NYC director/photographer took notice of something odd. Across the street and through a window, it seemed as though there was a fire.
Naturally, this prompted Kieran to call 911 as soon as possible. But when firefighters arrived on the scene, Kieran was given news he never would have expected in a million years. While it certainly seemed as though there was an uncontrolled fire, it was actually a massive television displaying a Yule log.
As awkward as that moment may have been for Kieran, folks from all over are leaving comments in support of his decision.
“You did the right thing,” one user wrote. “It’s genuinely better to have called and it be a false alarm than have an actual emergency unfold with everyone ignoring it.”
