Farm Owner Shares Incredibly Dramatic Footage Of When She “Releases The Quacken”

Farmer Krissy loves releasing the Dunkin Ducks from their shed every morning.

Our readers may remember the Quack House and the Dunkin’ Ducks. Muchkin the Duck loved trips to Dunkin’ Donuts for ice water. Sadly, Munchkin has since passed away, but her mom’s love of ducks has not waned. Krissy has constructed a literal duck paradise in her yard. They have settled into a routine, and every morning, Krissy goes out to open the shed where the ducks sleep. She calls this “chore” releasing the quacken.

As soon as the door opens, it’s a duck dash to see who can enter the pond first. If Krissy doesn’t stand aside, she will be knocked over like a bowling pin. The animals are eager to begin their day, and nothing will stand in their way. Krissy has call ducks, Australian spotted, and an East Indie.

Krissy has kept herself busy by creating tutorials on TikTok and writing a book, “Raising Ducks for Beginners and Beyond.” She also has “Munchkin’s Blog” online, which provides information about raising ducks. Munchkin and her husband, Maple, had several baby ducks still in Krissy’s flock. Although she has heartbreakingly lost some of her ducks, she reminds people that raising ducks can be a 20-year commitment.

Through her TikTok, Krissy strives to educate people about ducks and how to care for them. She also loves to entertain people by having all her ducklings take their first swim in watermelon rinds. Krissy feeds them snacks for her fans to enjoy watching. She does school educational programs, taking her ducks to local schools to allow kids to see and interact with them. If they’re good, she stops for ice water on her way home.

Krissy has learned a lot and is working to help others learn.
