King Charles’ Senior Aide Gives Major Update On Monarch’s Health

King Charles Health

It’s business as usual for the King of England. Two months after a surprise hospitalization, King Charles appears to be well. While he doesn’t speak of his condition often, those close to the monarch assure everyone that he’s keeping busy. He has no plans of letting his illness bring him down. An aide told People they’ve seen no real difference in King Charles’s health since his hospital stay in March.

“The thing you learn about this illness is that you just manage it, and that’s what he does,” the aide said.

“Medical science has made incredible advances, and I genuinely see no difference in him,” they added. “As long as you just do what the doctors say, just live your life as normal as possible. That’s exactly what he is doing.”

King Charles’ Health Seemed Good During His Visit To Canada

The aide told People this was King Charles’ health potentially delayed his first trip to Canada since he ascended the throne in 2022.

“Almost three years on, everyone has a clear impression of what that is and the role that he will play, one that is both traditional for the monarchy and distinct to His Majesty,” the aide said.

“He has dealt with his illness in a very human way, and the way he’s engaging with the public at a very human level,” they added. “I think we now have a clear idea of what the Carolean age looks like and what it stands for — now and hopefully for many years to come.”

King Charles shared a kind message to Canadians at the end of his visit. He wrote on Instagram, “As my wife and I leave Canada, we wanted to send our most heartfelt thanks to all those who turned out to offer their support on this, my first visit as Sovereign. It was the warmest of welcomes – and the fondest of returns to a land and a people we love. Until the next time, au revoir, Canada, et avec tous nos remerciements. – Charles R. & Camilla R.”
