Some parents have such a wacky sense of humor their kids have no choice but to go with it. Thankfully, most children find if they embrace their oddball parents, they wind up having a pretty good time. Case in point, this Orting, Washington, family of five.

For Kimberly and Randy White and their three kids, making each other laugh is more than a hobby – it’s a lifestyle. They never miss an opportunity to show off their silly side, so when their oldest daughter Broolynn’s first day of school rolled around, they were ready to make it memorable.
In one of the funniest viral videos around, the four remaining Whites (plus a friend) find the perfect way to greet Brooklynn’s school bus when she makes it home. Did we mention they own five giant dinosaur costumes? No? Well, they do.

All five dino-pals wait for Brooklynn to step off the bus stairs, some of them comically hopping up and down out of excitement. As we wait along with them, we can’t help but wonder whether Brooklynn will be embarrassed by her funny family in their unexpected outfits, but as soon as she appears, we realize that’s not the case.
Brooklynn must be pretty used to these kinds of shenanigans because she doesn’t miss a beat! As they swarm toward her, she just laughs and dashes toward the house, grinning from ear to ear the entire time.

“We encourage our children to work hard, play hard, and not take life too seriously as shown clearly in this video,” Kimberly said, and we couldn’t agree more. Laughing together is one of the best things you can do to keep a family strong. This is one first day of school Brooklynn (and everyone else) will never forget!
Watch the hilarious video below, and don’t forget to share with a family that would totally do something like this.
