Country music legend Tim McGraw marked his 57th birthday on May 1st, and his wife paid tribute to him with a loving social media post that proves he’s still a boy at heart.
Faith Hill has always been the first to celebrate her Grammy-winning husband, not just for his illustrious career, but also for being a strong partner and a loving father. But on Tim’s birthday, she celebrated him for his vibrance and joy.
In an Instagram post, Faith shared an 1883-themed clip of Tim having a backstage Nerf gun shootout with some of his crew members during his Standing Room Only Tour. With Old West music playing, he and some guys sought each other out like true cowboys.
“Thank GOD and Betty you were born 57 years ago this very day,” she began in the caption. “Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!”
“To Tim’s fans,” Faith continued. “A rare glimpse into the life of a grown man living his inner young boy. I thought you would love this. I laughed so hard when I saw it.”

Faith Hill credited Tim McGraw’s “team” for creating the video.
“It’s been fun seeing you all out on the road. Me as a fan, same as you, watching this man and his master class when it comes to electrifying the stage and knowing that only comes from the audience. It is a sight to behold, truly,” she added before addressing the post to her “one and only.”
As some may not know, Tim and Faith starred as husband and wife James and Margaret Dutton in Taylor Sheridan’s hugely popular Yellowstone prequel, 1883. While the two had collaborated on several projects during their marriage, the miniseries was a first for them. But thanks to their solid relationship, the endeavor came easy for them.
“She’s always been my rock. She’s my rock in everything that I do. I don’t think I could stand up straight without leaning on her in everything that I do,” Tim told Yahoo Entertainment in August 2023.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill married in October 1996, less than one year after they began dating. The couple has since welcomed three daughters; Audrey, 22, Maggie, 25, and Gracie, 26.
