When Nicole Leversage found out that her son, Evan, was one of those 10,000, she was devastated. Though she was told her son was nearing the end of her life, she wanted to make what was left as special as she could.

So this year, Christmas came early and they decided to celebrate the holiday weeks before its actual date. The occasion was originally planned to be a small family gathering, but the Leversages got a very special surprise.

Somehow word got out in their town of St. George, Canada and 3,000 people began hanging lights and planning a Santa Claus parade.  To see thousands of people come together to help give little Evan a wonderful last Christmas is a blessing.

And Evan was indeed elated by it.

Here’s the Takeaway: This Christmas you have the option to focus on yourself or focus on others.  Choose the latter, make it a Holiday that is truly special.

Watch Evan’s sweet reaction below and share if this kindness brought joy to your heart!
