At 94 and 83, the elderly Taiwanese women are starring in their grandson’s documentary short titled “Nǎi Nai & Wài Pó.” In this beautiful film, director Sean Wang takes an in-depth look at the daily lives of his two grandmothers who share a home. Their affectionate nicknames, Nǎi Nai and Wài Pó, mean “dad’s mom and mom’s mom,” according to NBC.

Recently, Sean Wang’s short film was nominated for an Oscar, which means his Nǎi Nai and Wài Pó will be walking the red carpet! He caught the most adorable footage of their reaction to the news. Surrounded by their cheering family members, the two grandmas clapped and smiled in excitement!

Commenters could barely hold back their tears while watching the sweet video.

“Who is cutting onions?!!!” wrote one user.
