Their affectionate nicknames, Nǎi Nai and Wài Pó, mean “dad’s mom and mom’s mom,” according to NBC.
Recently, Sean Wang’s short film was nominated for an Oscar, which means his Nǎi Nai and Wài Pó will be walking the red carpet! He caught the most adorable footage of their reaction to the news. Surrounded by their cheering family members, the two grandmas clapped and smiled in excitement!
