Natasha and Carrol are educators at Summit School Charter School in this Brooklyn borough and have dedicated their lives to the children in the community. These women think the world of their kids; “The kids are just amazing. No matter what is happening at home, no matter what they’ve gone through they never give up. We want to make certain that school is like a family. So when you are here, you’re safe and we’re going to keep you safe.”

The school that Natasha and Carrol work for has one mission in mind: Get these kids into a college program. Thanks to Natasha, Carrol and the school’s other educators, 93% of the most recent graduating class is enrolled in college.

A few months ago, Natasha and Carrol were brought on stage at the Ellen show to receive praise from the TV personality and were gifted $25,000 for their school. But Ellen had bigger plans in mind, along with the folks over at Walmart. She asked the teachers to return with their entire senior class. Little did they know they were about to get the gift of a lifetime.
