5-year-old Kylie is just like any other little girl. She loves sports, trick-or-treating, sledding, and naps. But there’s one thing about the Maine-native that’s a little different: she does all of those things alongside her feathered friend, a duck named Snowflake.
When Kylie first met Snowflake, it was love at first sight. For whatever reason, the duck “imprinted” on the girl, making her his new mama.

Kylie is all too happy to assume the responsibility.

Now the pair are inseparable. Wherever Kylie goes, Snowflake goes.
“She would not leave home without her duck,” said Kylie’s parents, “and at that point nothing’s negotiable.”

Kylie’s parents even had to craft a little diaper for the duck so that he can stay inside with his “mom.”
