“Duck Dynasty” Star Sadie Robertson Huff Shares Tearjerking Words Following Phil Robertson’s Diagnosis

Duck Dynasty Phil Robertson

In Duck Dynasty, the Robertson family introduced many of us to the world of duck hunting and long, bushy beards. They also shared their family and undeniably close bonds. Phil Robertson, the family patriarch, patented the Duck Commander duck caller, creating his duck dynasty, but his most significant accomplishment was raising five children. Today, there are 26 members of the Robertson family all because Phil and Kaye fell in love. Sadly, Phil’s son, Jase, shared on his podcast, Unashamed with the Robertsons, that Phil is very ill, People reported.

“Phil’s not doing well. I think I spoke on the 1000th podcast. We were trying to figure out the diagnosis, but according to the doctors, they are sure that he has some sort of blood disease causing all kinds of problems,” Jase said.

He added, “And he has early stages of Alzheimer’s. So, if you put those things together, he’s just not doing well. He’s really struggling.”

Phil Robertson’s Health News Saddened Duck Dynasty Fans

Phil’s granddaughter, Sadie Robertson Huff, shared her thoughts on Instagram, writing in part, “In moments like this, it can feel overwhelming for such bad news to be such public news. But you know what? I’m genuinely so thankful my family chose to make our life public because of how incredible it is that so many people know my grandpa! Y’all got to see the way he lived his life! I’m so glad that so many people have been able to learn from his faith and his love for his family. I’m so proud to be his granddaughter.”

“…Sad for the days we are in, but grateful for the days we’ve had,” she added.

A fan wrote, “With you. Always in prayer and alongside you friend.”

This Duck Dynasty fan felt like Phil Robertson’s granddaughter resembled his passion. “I see his legacy, passion and fire in you!! Keep trusting and doing what God is calling you to do!! Praying for all of you during this time.”
