Dogs are way too good for this world! If you’re looking for proof, one woman on social media just witnessed the sweetest interaction between a little boy and his four-legged friend. Victoria watched a school bus pull up to the stop where the child was waiting to be picked up, his faithful dog at his side. What the pooch did next, she just had to get on camera!

While stopped behind the school bus, Victoria could see the boy and the canine from her car. She observed the dog patiently standing by while their owner waited at the bus stop. As soon as the student got into the vehicle, it began to drive away. That’s when the pup started running after it!
Victoria shared her video of the loyal dog chasing the school bus on social media. In her caption, she explained the rest of the adorable story.
“The bus in front of me stops and there’s this little boy on the opposite side of the road with his dog sitting by him,” she wrote. “He waits for the little boy to get in the bus and then chased it for about 20 seconds. The dog then sat by the road, waited for no traffic, then ran back home.”
It sounds like this dog was really invested in making sure the child was safe while getting from the bus stop to school. Isn’t that precious?
Some viewers think they know what kind of dog this is.
Many commenters seemed to think that the pooch in the video was a Great Pyrenees and added that these dogs are great with kids.
“Great Pyrenees don’t play about their babies fr human or otherwise,” one person wrote.
Another chimed in, “We own a Great Pyrenees mix, she’s a stray someone dumped her 7 years ago and she walks my kids to the bus every day, walks them anywhere they need. Very protective. Great dogs.
We’re not sure if these people identified the breed correctly, but they got one thing right: This dog is definitely protective of their human!
