Some pets are more susceptible to checkup trepidation than others, but Dr. Ross has found the perfect prescription for when things get hairy in the exam room. “Sometimes your patient just needs you to go the extra mile to make them feel comfortable when they’re here for the day to have surgery,” the hospital posted. “Dr. Ross has mastered the technique and sweet Ruby was so thankful for that.”

Dr. Ross has a simple tool to calm his -in this case canine- charge, Ruby. The young veterinarian grabs his six string and strums a tune that takes the mood in the room down to a calm, relaxed level.
