There are quite a few amusement parks to enjoy in the United States, but none of them are quite like Dollywood. Although the park didn’t start out as hers, once she joined a partnership with the Herschend brothers in 1986, the Pigeon Forge park transformed into something entirely new — and entirely Dolly. Since then, Dollywood has grown so much, and continues to do so.
Parton herself couldn’t be more proud! In fact, she’ll often make visits to the park herself, much to the delight of her fans. Just ask the lucky folks who were at the park during the 2024 opening weekend! Based on a video shared by a musical artist named Corey Voss, it seems the Queen of Country showed up during a delightful parade of sorts.

In the video, Parton can be seen riding in the back of a flower-covered carriage. She waves at cheering fans who, understandably, are freaking out! It seems that they had no idea she’d be showing up that day, making the moment all-the-more unforgettable.

Although Dollywood is plenty of fun when the star of the park isn’t there, I can’t imagine how much better it is when that is the case!
