Dolly Parton is the kind of person we want to cover in bubble wrap and protect at all costs. Not only is she a country music icon, but she also has a beautiful soul and a passion for caring about others. Recently, Dolly missed the announcement of a new attraction at Dollywood, sparking concern among fans. She sent her regrets with a video message stating she had a kidney stone, and her doctors did not want her to travel. But that apparently wasn’t the end of her recent health woes. Dolly Parton announced the postponement of her upcoming Vegas shows to focus on her health.

Dolly Parton Posted About The Vegas Performances On Instagram
She wanted her fans to know that her Vegas shows cannot go on as planned at this time. She shared the news on Instagram.
“As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon! In all seriousness, given this, I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see,” Dolly shared.
“You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you,” Dolly added.
Dolly Parton added that just because she can’t head to Vegas right now doesn’t mean her career’s over.
“And don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet,” she added. “But, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you. I love you and thank you for understanding.”
Again, Dolly Parton can have whatever time she needs. Vegas will be there. We love you, Dolly!
