Apparently, Dolly Parton and Keanu Reeves go way back! Dolly sat on The Drew Barrymore Show and reminisced about her early memories of Keanu with Drew.
Patricia Taylor, Keanu’s mother, was a costume designer for Dolly Parton, designing some of her most iconic looks throughout the years. Many years ago, when Keanu was a young child, his mom would toddle him along to costume fittings.
“She would bring him over to my house for the fittings or I would go to the shop where she worked,” Dolly told Drew.
Keanu would sit at Dolly’s feet throughout the appointment, keeping her company.
A few years ago, Keanu knocked on Dolly’s dressing room door and reintroduced himself to her, wondering if she remembered that he was the child of her costumer.
She hadn’t put the pieces together! She knew Keanu was “a star,” but hadn’t realized that he was the young boy from all those years ago.
What an amazing memory!
