If you think that only humans can become opera singers, you’ve clearly never heard this dog hit the high notes! Georgia the greyhound has some pretty impressive pipes, as can be heard in a hilarious video captured by her owner. In the footage, this pooch sang along to the famous aria sung by the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. She deserves a standing ovation for her performance!

Georgia may not be able to read sheet music, but she certainly seems to have a natural gift! While singing along with the recording, this dog was very close to hitting some of the same notes as the opera singer. She must have an excellent ear!
Millions of viewers have watched this dog’s impressive opera singing online, and commenters thought the pup was very talented!
“Wow she’s actually so close to matching the pitch, too,” wrote one user.

Georgia went through a lot before she was rescued.
This video becomes even more heart-melting when you hear Georgia’s backstory, which her owner shared in another post. Apparently, this poor greyhound belonged to the racing industry for three years before being rescued by a loving family. She competed in 44 races, eventually succumbing to injury. When she couldn’t participate in the sport anymore, her previous owners got rid of her. Thankfully, Georgia currently lives in a much better home where she is treasured and treated right!
“Now she is free to run and play on her own terms and lives a safe and comfortable life with her family and runs and plays freely with her friends,” her current owner said. “All greyhounds deserve a happy ending, but many do not survive racing.”
