Celine Dion Trips on Stage, But Keeps Moving Like the Queen She Is

Celine Dion Slip

Celine Dion took a six-and-a-half-year hiatus from live performance. Before opening her residency in Paris, her last stage show was in March 2020. The world shut down, and it looked as if Celine’s performance days might be over. She revealed a Stiff-person syndrome diagnosis in December 2022 and stayed out of the public eye for quite some time. Her glorious return to the Eiffel Tower to close out the opening ceremonies of the 2024 Summer Olympics gave her the rush she’d missed. Celine got to work and put together her 2026/2027 residency. During a recent performance, Celine Dion slipped on stage. Video caught the scary moment, but instead of panicking, the diva kept going.

Celine Dion Didn’t Let a Little Slip Ruin Her Night

Viral video shows the moment Celine Dion’s heel gets caught in her pant leg, causing her to slip as she sang “Dans un autre monde.” She recovered, gave fans a high five, and never missed a note.

“She’s feeling herself after hitting her notes again let her live,” a fan wrote.

Celine Dion had a slip and fall and continued to sing. A lot of people would hide in their home for a week after, much less.

“I wish I could get up so confidently after falling in front of a huge audience! I fall alone, and I am severely embarrassed!” Someone wrote.

This person agreed, “She did good. I would be limping for a week.”

Thankfully, Celine Dion seems to be just fine. Being back on stage has to feel so good. Her fans adore her and have sold out the entire residency. Life is pretty darn great for Celine Dion.
