Disabled Raccoon Living His Best Bungee Life With The Help Of Wildlife Rehab.

A disabled raccoon uses a bungee cord to get around.

Thanks to Nolin River Wildlife, one playful critter doesn’t have to let his disability slow him down! Boone the raccoon is unable to stand up on his own due to a neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. However, his caregivers came up with a creative solution that would allow him to run around with his friends. With the support of a body sling and some bungee cords, Boone the disabled raccoon is able to hop around to his heart’s content!

When the raccoon isn’t hanging out in this contraption, the best he can do is roll and wobble around. While this doesn’t seem to stop the little guy from exploring, he isn’t able to cover much ground. His bungee system gives him way more freedom!

Watch the video below to see how much life has improved for Boone the disabled raccoon thanks to his bungee cord system.
