The holiday season is well underway, and I continue to be blown away by the creativity of festive folks from all over. A house donning the biggest Santa hat you’ve ever seen has certainly been a highlight so far. But now I’m here with yet another holiday wonder. This one comes from Texas. While the warm weather doesn’t fit the usual winter wonderland vibe many picture around Christmas, what they do have is a lazy river.

Sure, a lazy river in and of itself isn’t fitting for the holidays. But this lazy river is unlike any you have ever seen before. Surrounding the river, there are all sorts of colorful lights, ornaments, and other Christmas decor. Instead of walking by to admire the scenery, folks get to take a leisurely ride down the river. I’ll admit: The space is pretty tight under all of that Christmas decor. But I still think it would be such a joy to experience this lazy river in person! Speaking of which, if you’re like me, then you’re probably wanting all of the details on this ride. Well, first of all, it’s located at Club Westside in Houston, Texas. This means that the private athletic club is only available to members, the festive lazy river included.
Of course, this also means that many of us won’t get a chance to enjoy it in person. At least not this year…
