It’s been a hard few months for Dave Coulier. He disclosed a cancer diagnosis that left him feeling down both physically and emotionally. But the Full House alum shared some good news on March 31 that changed his life. Dave Coulier is now a grandfather. He shared the news with Parade that his son Luc and wife Alex welcomed a baby boy on March 27.

Dave said, “We’re so excited,” Dave said.” My son and his wife live in California, so we’ll be making multiple trips to see that little boy.”
Dave Coulier Loves The Idea Of Being A Grandfather
Dave Coulier lives in Detroit but has no problem going back to California for grandfather duty.
“I have a lot to do. I built our home that I’m sitting in here,” he told Parade. “I went to contractor school, and it took me 17 months to build our home. So there’s lots of work to do here on the exterior of the home. I want to get out my tractor and keep planting trees and beautifying our home space.”
When asked about his cancer journey, Dave said he’s doing his best to remain upbeat.
“I don’t know how else to view this other than with a positive attitude, especially because I’m in a position where I can inspire others,” he said. “A negative attitude doesn’t inspire anybody. Positivity, though, can take you a long way.”
Dave Coulier added that after becoming a grandfather, he’s felt better. “I’ll tell you this, today is the first day that I really feel, like, ‘Wow, I’m feeling pretty darn good. I feel like myself.’ And it’s today, so I get to celebrate that with you.”
