What does it mean to be a “girl dad?”
For some, it means sitting patiently while your toddler paints your fingernails or braids your hair. For others, it means being as pleasant as possible to the young man who has arrived to take her to the prom. And for Bret Martin, it means learning all of the lyrics to his three daughters’ favorite Taylor Swift songs, then bringing them to the concert to party the night away!
Bret’s wife, Carol Martin, shot two short videos of the “girl dad” himself blending right in with his daughters and the crowd of mostly women around him at a concert on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. In the clips, we see Bret wearing a bright pink Hawaiian shirt, cheerfully belting out the lyrics of “You Belong With Me” like any other good Swiftie would. He’s having such a great time, as are the ladies around him, that we can’t help but smile.
